Mini Shadow Puppet Theater based on five well known Aesop's Fables: The Lion and the Mouse, Tortoise and the Hare, Fox & the Stork, Fox and the Crow, and The Fox and the Grapes.
With an inexpensive desk lamp (eg Ikea Jansjo) you can backlight the theater in a darkened room and act out the scenes from the fables. You can also use it in daylight or project onto a wall or screen.
Assembly is easy. The theater folds out and can be placed in a base for stability. The scenery and characters can placed into the theater and held in place and even overlap. Included are the animal characters: Lion, Lion net, Mouse, Fox, Crow, Stork, Tortoise, Hare running, Hare Sitting as well as a Forest scene, Grapevine and Fox's plate & Stork's Vase. The short stories are also included.

The kit includes theatre, base, parchment screen, instructions & the story, with characters and scenes which are simply cut into rectangular strips. Also included is a ziploc plastic envelope for storage. Size approx 8.5x11.
