Blue topaz is a bright and lively natural silicate mineral. It is prized for its durability, bright blue color and incredibly BRIGHT gems it cuts. At a hardness of 8, it is tough enough for careful daily wear and should last for years to come, and it can take regular cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner.
This particular stone as large as it is stunning! It is cut into a very bright and unique modern style, designed by Arya Akhavan entitled "Radiant Silvergun," and cut by yours truly. The stone weighs in at 15.36ct and measures 15.7 x 15.7 x 10.8mm. The stone is eyeclean and will make a breathtaking piece of jewelry. I envision a pendant, for women or men! Like all blue topaz, this has been treated to enhance its blue color. This treatment is commonplace and stable for the life of the gem!
